The Carolina Panthers tried their hand at acquiring quarterbacks Deshaun Watson and Russell Wilson this offseason. But, obviously, those hands weren’t good enough.
But maybe the one for the guy who protected both Watson’s and Wilson’s blindsides will be.
As reported by ESPN’s David Newton, the Panthers are currently “pursuing” free agent Duane Brown. Brown, 36, is one of the top left tackles still left on the open market.
The Panthers are pursuing free agent left tackle Duane Brown, per league source. He is a five-time Pro Bowl selection. He has been with Seattle since 2017.

He became that five-time Pro Bowler this past season, when he was selected to Las Vegas for his standout 2021 campaign in Seattle. According to Pro Football Focus, the 6-foot-4, 315-pounder relinquished 33 pressures over 585 pass-blocking snaps—helping him earn an overall grade of 71.5.
Brown spent the better part of the last five seasons with the Seahawks, as he was traded out west by the Houston Texans in the middle of the 2017 season. So, is a new move down south soon in order for the big man?
