Carolina Panthers cornerback Jaycee Horn has already put up a lot of zeroes over his two-year NFL career—from catches, yards, touchdowns and passer ratings allowed. And now, he may be trying to put one up on himself.
On Tuesday, NFL owners approved a new uniform rule that will now throw the No. 0 into circulation for all teams. The last time players were allowed to wear the digit was 50 years ago, when the league implemented its uniform standardization policy in 1973.
Horn, just moments after the news broke, tweeted this . . .
I wanna hear what y’all think !

Horn, in a tribute to the late Kobe Bryant, has donned the No. 8 since entering the pros. No. 8 was also quite apropos for the University of South Carolina Gamecock considering he was the eighth overall pick of the 2021 NFL draft.
But just as he did with that number, Horn could take advantage of yet another uniform expansion rule for this season. And if he goes through with it, he’ll be able to give his matchup live, in-game updates of their stat line against him.
