Panasonic’s new appliance makes bread and ice cream – and it couldn’t be simpler to use

If, like me, you have a kitchen that can be best described as attractively compact, any multifunctional gizmo or gadget is likely to appeal – especially if it saves you time and energy, as well as cupboard space. Now, Panasonic has launched a bread maker and ice cream maker all rolled into one.

While we may be used to seeing microwaves with air fryer settings and slow cookers that moonlight as rice cookers, Panasonic’s new device offers two polar-opposite functions in one relatively compact machine.
