Pan Pepin Inc. of Bayamón, Puerto Rico, is recalling seven lots of its Para Bien Al Grano bread because the product contains sesame that is not listed on the label, according to the company's notice posted Oct. 14 by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The bread was distributed throughout Puerto Rico.
People with a sesame allergy or severe sensitivity run the risk of a "serious or life-threatening allergic reaction" if they eat the product, the company said. The notice does not mention any illnesses or reactions.
