Palworld 1.0 finally has a release date, and we don't have much longer to wait for it – it's coming in July.
Announced during today's Summer Game Fest stream, it's been confirmed that Palworld is finally leaving early access on July 10, 2026. Pocketpair previously announced that it'd be coming at some point this year, but we didn't know exactly when – it's certainly a nice surprise to see it coming as soon as next month.
In a press release, Pocketpair teases more Pals, as well as "uncharted territories" and "fragments of a grand narrative that inches closer to the truth of the world." We'll just have to wait and see what that means – over on Twitter, Pocketpair Publishing and communications boss John "Bucky" Buckley teases, "Get ready to finally figure out what is going on with that big tree!"
Just this week, Buckley joked that Pocketpair was going to launch all of its Palworld projects to coincide with GTA 6's release in November, which obviously wasn't going to happen, but it is nice to see a game avoiding the September window that's very quickly filled up with games seemingly trying to step out of Rockstar Games's shadow.
It's been little over two years since Palworld launched into early access, when Pocketpair's creature-collecting survival game immediately became immensely popular. We'll just have to see how many more fans it picks up thanks to its full launch. After that… I guess it's time to wait for Palfarm and the cursed dating sim, Palworld More Than Just Pals.
