On Tuesday, a Palestinian man was shot dead at the Gush Etzion intersection south of Jerusalem after opening fire on two personnel from the Israeli Security Agency (ISA). The 30-year-old man from Jenin was killed when the two ISA personnel returned fire, as reported by the agency.
The ISA, also known as Shabak or Shin Bet, stated that the two personnel were injured during the exchange and were subsequently evacuated to a hospital for treatment.
According to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA, a Palestinian man was seriously wounded near the Gush Etzion junction in the occupied West Bank after being shot by Israeli forces. However, Palestinian medical sources had not yet confirmed his death at the time of reporting.
