Police have recovered a heroin stash with an estimated street value of six-figures from a property in the Paisley area.
Officers acting under warrant raided the address on Lochfield Drive on February 22.
A quantity of heroin was discovered with an estimated value of £174,000.
A 63-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the recovery.
He is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on today (February 23).
Detective Inspector Robert Bowie, of Renfrewshire and Inverclyde's Serious and Organised Crime Team, said: "This significant recovery reinforces our determination to target serious and organised crime.
"Drug misuse brings nothing but misery to our communities and people's lives can be ruined.
"I want to reassure the public that we will continue to use every tool and tactic at our disposal to remove these illegal substances from our streets.
"Serious and organised crime has no place in our society and we will continue to disrupt this, and any other criminal activity, which impacts on our lives and our communities.”
