A vile Paisley pervert was chased out of town after viewing violent child sex abuse films for almost three years.
Craig Douglas, of Blackstoun Road in the town, admitted storing a sickening haul of photos and videos, which included youngster being raped.
The twisted 23-year-old admitted that on various occasions between December 2017 and September 2020, at his home address he kept the horrific material.
Douglas, 23, also admitted that in a similar timeframe at his home address and elsewhere, did take, or permit to be taken, indecent photographs of children.
Procurator fiscal Kerry Marshall told the court how Douglas was discovered when cops raided his family home where he lives with his two older brothers and his father.
Sick Douglas was found with 15 Category A moving images alongside multiple other videos and images varying in category.
Ms Marshall explained: “At about 7am on September 24, 2020, police attended at the locus in possession of a search warrant where entry was afforded by the accused’s father.
“On entry to the property, the accused and his brothers were traced within their respective bedrooms.
“A search commenced and DC McIntosh and Brennan seized from the accused a black Samsung mobile phone. The accused provided a pin code for the mobile.
“A black Dell laptop and a WD External Hard Drive was also seized from the accused’s bedroom along with several other electronic devices seized from throughout the property.
“At about 8.30am, forensic computer analysists James McIntosh and Mark McLeod from the cybercrime unit attended at the locus and carried out a forensic examination of the devices recovered.
“FCA James McIntosh informed DC McIntosh that a quantity of Category A moving images had been recovered from the Samsung mobile belonging to the accused.
“The accused was arrested and taken to Greenock police station."

The court heard a device examination was carried out by DC Allan Robb and Calum Baird from the cybercrime unit.
The report showed that a total of 25 still and moving indecent images of children were recovered from the Samsung mobile. Of these 22 were accessible and could be broken down into categories.
- 15 Category A moving images, two Category B moving images, one Category C moving image, one Category B still image and three Category C still images.
Ms Marshall explained an example of the Category A moving image showed, “a naked female child aged approximately eight-years-old" being raped.
Defence agent Manus Tolland told the court Douglas no longer lives in the area as he was essentially “hounded out of town.”
Mr Tolland reserved further mitigation for background reports to be carried out.
Sheriff Eoin McGinty deferred sentencing for the preparation of a criminal justice social work report and a restriction of liberty order assessment.
Douglas will return to court next month and was placed on the Sex Offenders' Register meantime.
