A paedophile chef has been spared jail and allowed to keep his job working in a pub.

Steven Finall collected a sickening stash of child abuse pictures and videos, including vile photos of toddlers being raped. Despite this, he was handed a suspended prison sentence and will continue in his role as kitchen manager of a family-friendly public house.

Liverpool Crown Court heard yesterday afternoon, Tuesday, that Cheshire Police raided the 45-year-old's home in Warrington on January 13 this year after receiving information about suspect activities on Snapchat. Bidding wars for homes in Merseyside's most in demand postcodes

Homes in parts of Merseyside sold at auction for thousands of pounds above their guide prices.

Property prices across the country remain at an all time high, but concern is growing over a looming recession and the impact this could have on the housing market.

In his mini-budget last week, The Chancellor, Kwasi Kwarteng confirmed a cut in stamp duty, meaning 200,000 less people will pay the tax on house purchases. Cutting stamp duty does mean property buyers and home movers could save thousands of pounds - but there are fears that this could push house prices up further, at a time when the supply of available homes is already tight.

Here are the postcodes in Merseyside that are most in demand right now, according to Sutton Kersh.
