Padraig McCrory admits his dream opponent would be pound-for-pound great Canelo Alvarez.
McCrory's stock is on the rise after claiming the IBO world light-heavyweight title in Germany last Saturday night.
The 34-year-old recorded his fifth straight knockout victory after stopping Leon Bunn in front of a raucous travelling support in Frankfurt.

Multiple weight world champion Canelo recently stepped up to light-heavyweight to fight WBA Super world champion Dmitrii Bivol.
And while the Mexican legend suffered only his second defeat as a professional, he remains the big draw in world boxing.
Speaking at a special homecoming event at The Devenish on Tuesday night, McCrory said Canelo would be his dream opponent.
"I would love to test myself against the best in the world, so Canelo Alvarez would be a dream opponent," McCrory said.
"Again, it is a massive ask but to get in there and fight the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world would be a great experience."
Tuesday's compere, Belfast cruiserweight Tommy McCarthy, added: "It's not out of the question. Now you've got something to bring to the table.
"Is Jamie Conlan here? Make sure you keep tagging Canelo on social media. December 10. Let's go!"
Meanwhile, McCrory says he would be ready to fight again on Michael Conlan's undercard on December 10.
Conlan takes on Frenchman Karim Guerfi at the SSE Arena, with Tyrone McKenna and Sean McComb also confirmed for the bill.
And despite that being just six weeks away, McCrory insists he would love to be involved.
"There are loads of options. I am speaking with Conlan Boxing on Thursday. It looks like I will probably fight at light-heavyweight in six weeks," McCrory said.
"But from there it is about getting the best fight. I can super-middleweight, and I feel I am big enough for light-heavy.
"I am 34 but I haven't had a long career and I haven't taken a lot of beatings either. I feel I could fight another two or three years, and if I am fit and healthy then we're all good."
