A man and his dog were thrown into the sea after a shark attacked a paddleboard earlier this week.
The encounter took place off the waters of Pacific Grove in California on Wednesday.
The paddleboarder, a local resident, was thrown off but able to climb back on with the canine and both returned to shore uninjured.
