In addition to offensive lineman Cole Schneider, the Green Bay Packers also signed former New York Giants receiver/tight end Andre Miller, per Tom Silverstein of PackersNews.com.
The Packers had two roster spots open as a result of releasing rookies Chuck Filiaga and Camren McDonald.
Miller, a collegiate receiver, went undrafted out of Maine in 2022. The Giants converted him to tight end, but an arm injury ended his first season. He was put back on injured reserve in June and was waived with an injury settlement last week.
Miller was 6-2 and 224 pounds coming out of Maine. He posted an unofficial 9.60 Relative Athletic Score (RAS) at his pro day before the 2022 draft.
Miller will wear No. 16 for the Packers, suggesting he will play wide receiver. He was on the practice field on Tuesday.
