P&O owner to attend investment summit after Starmer disowns minister’s ‘boycott’ comments

DP World, owner of P&O Ferries, has reversed its decision to snub Sir Keir Starmer's investment summit after the Labourleader disowned his Transport Secretary's calls to boycott the company.

The firm will now attend Monday's gathering of 300 business leaders following a flurry of late-night calls from No 10 to patch up relations.
