BBC weatherman Owain Wyn Evans had a brilliant response to a troll who called him a 'limp-wristed, effeminate drummer.' The popular presenter for North West Tonight and The One Show raised more than £2million for Children in Need last November with a non-stop 24-hour drumming challenge.
And he received good luck messages from drumming royalty including Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl.

The challenge came after a video he'd made of himself drumming the BBC News theme went viral. But he clapped back after a nasty keyboard warrior tweeted: "Keith Moon would be turning in his grave if he had to witness that limp-wristed, effeminate attempt to play the drums."
Owain shared the vile message, with their name and image blanked out, with the upbeat response: "Good morning dahlings!
"As you know, I am more than happy with my limp-wristed, effeminate drumming.
"Keith Moon, as well as being an amazing drummer, enjoyed dressing up in drag… so would probably have approved of a camp drummer."
To make his point he tweeted a gallery of photos of Keith, the legendary drummer for The Who who died in 1978, dressed in drag.
"Some pics of Keith Moon looking absolutely fabulous in drag," he messaged.
And one of Owain's followers sent photo of the Foo Fighters in drag.
Another follower @Lou3Ceri said: "You are too kind to blank out their name/image - such nastiness should be owned or called out!
"My England-based auntie is a huge fan of yours, she is so jealous that we have such a delightful and enthusiastic drumming weatherman on our news in Wales."
@MandyMoos tweeted: "Really don't believe some people! Great response though! Keep being awesome Owain and #bekind folks."
And @shazm0 applauded: "Well said Owain!! You do your own thing. You make us happy and I hope you make yourself happy. That's what it's about isn't it."
Owain previously answered back when he was urged by a grumpy viewer to stop using his cheery catchphrase 'hello my dahlings.'
"Please no more 'hello my darlings', just present the weather!" the viewer messaged Owain on Twitter.
Owain told them: "It’s spelt 'my dahlings' as a matter of fact."
And with a final flourish he added the nonchalant nail painting emoji.
Owain's drumming at the end of one of his forecasts in April went viral and brought a smile to faces of millions during the coronavirus crisis.
The joyous video of him jamming along to the BBC News theme was viewed more than five million times and received the thumbs-up from some of his musical idols including Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, McFly's Harry Judd, Taylor Swift and Harry Styles' drummer Aaron Sterling.
And it made headlines everywhere from America to Australia.
Owain started drumming after receiving a cardboard kit for Christmas when he was eight.
He joined BBC North West Tonight based at MediaCityUK in Salford in 2019 before that he was based at BBC Look North in Yorkshire.
