Over £7,000 has been raised for a Lanarkshire dad-of-three whose wife died suddently.
Chris Morrison discovered his 36-year-old wife, Kimberley, unresponsive in bed at their home in East Kilbride on Sunday morning. Kimberley told him via Whatsapp on the Saturday night that she had been sick and wasn't feeling great.
She was at home with their children; Savannah, nine, Candace, five and one-year-old Sawyer. Security guard Chris returned home from a night shift at 6.30am on Sunday and it was the family dog that set alarm bells ringing.

"I came in and put the kettle on like I always do, but I heard our wee dog barking and barking," the 37-year-old told Lanarkshire Live.
"She was upstairs with Kimberley and wouldn't come down, obviously she was trying to tell me there was something wrong. I never in a million years expected to find what I did though.
"In my heart of hearts, when I went in to the bedroom and saw Kimberley lying there, I knew she was gone."
A first aider at work, Chris desperately administered CPR before paramedics arrived - but it was too late.
"My first thought was the children," heartbroken Chris added.
"I wanted to make sure they were out the house and taken care of - the last thing I wanted was them seeing their mum like that. I just can't get my head around it at the minute, it's just total disbelief.
"I'm trying to do my best for the children and keep them in a routine as much as I can."
The family are due to celebrate Cadence's sixth birthday next week - now Chris is torn at the prospect of doing so without their beloved mummy.
Describing Kimberley as "a wonderful mum," Chris told how nine-year-old Savannah has taken her death hardest, adding that she has been heartbreakingly spraying her mum's perfume and going to bed cuddling one of her dresses.
He added: "My six-year-old was in denial until yesterday, but she finally broke down crying saying she wanted her mummy - we all ended up crying together."
During her last pregnancy, Kimberley was diagnosed with gestational diabetes, but it had been thought the condition had since passed. Whilst it's not yet known if this was a contributing factor to her death, Chris told us how Kimberley had been suffering a few headaches of late and was "drinking a lot of Cola".
He added: "We never thought it was anything serious, obviously at this stage we still don't know the cause. It's surreal, the night before on WhatsApp we were talking about plans for our anniversary in October.
"She said she had been really, really sick so I told her to get to her bed and take care of herself and I would see her in the morning. It's just so unfair.
"Everything was coming in to place. She had a wee part-time job in the fragrance shop in East Kilbride town centre she absolutely loved, we had the the two girls and we had got our wee boy - we were complete and were finally making long term plans."
Chris has been flooded with support since Kimberley's tragic death on Sunday, including the gofundme set up by family friends Robert and Amanda Brown. Aimed at giving the now single-dad some financial support, the fundraiser has so far raised close to over £7,000.
"I am just totally overwhelmed with the fundraiser and folk even handing in wee toys for the kids," Chris added.
"It is all testament to Kimberley and the beautiful person she was and to the children. Most of our friends were through Kimberley.
"I'm a lot more reserved and would stand back in a social setting more where as Kimberley would talk and talk - that's one thing I will really miss about her. She was such a special person, she always put everyone else first before herself, she had a smile that would light up a room, she was a loving mother and a great wife and has been taken far too soon."
