Outlander fans have been left gobsmacked by a former stars transformation on popular Channel 4 sitcom Derry Girls, as the late Malva Christie appeared on the latest episode of Derry Girls.
Actress Jessica Reynolds, who was killed off of Outlander last season, looked "almost unrecognisable" as she donned the eyeliner for the Channel 4 sitcom, reports the Scottish Daily Express.
In Outlander, Malva was described as a "a tallish girl, with soft black curls and almond-shaped light gray eyes, an oval-shaped face, and pale complexion."

But Reynolds swapped the fantasy Scottish highlands for the mid-90's Ireland as she took on a completely different look for 'Wee Deirdre'.
In the show, Reynolds was dressed in a 70's punk rock outfit, donning dog collar chains, spiked bracelets, fishnet tights and smokey black eyeliner.
On Instagram, the star wrote: "So thrilled to have been able to play the wee rocket that was Wee Deirdre !!!

Fans flocked to Jessica's comments to share their opinions of the difference in her look, with one Instagram user writing: "Malva is that Youu?!! You are phenomenal girl!"
Another said: "A wee rocket playing a wee rocket."
And a third said: "You were soooo good !!! queen moment !!"
And another commented: "Just finished the episode, I’m so proud of you."
In Outlander, Jessica's character Malva was axed in the last season in a classic "Who Dunnit" cliff hanger episode.
Despite not being the most loved character on the Starz show, Reynolds took to social media to thank fans of Outlander for their support during her short stint on the programme.
She wrote: "The response to ep 6 has been overwhelming ! I’ve never seen a fandom like it.
"Thank you for loving (and despising) my troubled wee Malva. What a journey. Love love love to you all thank you @Outlander_STARZ."
The FINAL episode of Derry Girls will air on Tuesday, May 17 at 9pm on Channel 4 - get ready to be emotional!
