Outlander star Caitriona Balfe ‘receiving number of packages’ directly from stranger

Outlander's Caitriona Balfe appealed for help after revealing she is getting sent unsolicited packages in the post.

Caitriona who plays Claire Fraser in the Starz hit time-travelling drama has been having to fork out money every time she is sent the packages via Fedex - and she revealed she hadn't ordered them in the first place.

Caitriona wrote: "@FedExEurope how do I stop unwanted packages. Someone keeps sending me parcels I do not want and I have to pay the fees.

"How do I stop this. I do not know the sender. Can’t find answers on your website."

Fed Ex responded to Caitriona asking her for more information.

They wrote on Twitter: "Hello Caitríona. Thank you for contacting us. In order to assist you, could you please provide us some tracking numbers of that packages? Thanks in advance. Alexandra."

Fans were concerned the star was being sent packages she did not ask for through the post and felt it was a security issue.

One wrote: "If FedEx can’t or won’t help, might the police help? Seems like a security or personal safety issue. Good luck solving this problem."

Another added: "All fees should be paid for or it’s not a gift! I can’t believe anyone would send you something and make you pay for it! That’s ludicrous!!!"

Someone else suggested: "I would contact the corporate office of Fed Ex to get to the bottom of this. They can find the offender with tracking numbers."
