Amanda Owen has opened up about how her children are helping her during a 'dark' period.
The Our Yorkshire Farm star, 48, took to social media to share a sweet snap of one of her daughters holding a large lightbulb as they worked together on their farm - captioning to picture shared on Twitter: "Bringing brightness into a dark place."
Following splitting from husband Clive Owen earlier this year, Amanda has faced a number of challenges over recent months - including having to deal with a number of setbacks related to her family home at Ravenseat Farm.
Before calling time on their relationship, Amanda and Clive snapped up a remote farmhouse in 2020 and were granted planning permission to renovate the property but work hasn't been going swimmingly since the former couple's shock split.
Amanda and her estranged husband are parents to nine children together who, in descending order of age, are Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clemmie, and Nancy. The former couple first struck up a romance back in 1995, when Amanda visited Clive's farm in Ravenseat to ask for help.
The former couple announced their decision to end their relationship in June this year, but revealed their plans to continue working together on the farm together as they co-parent their nine children.
Amanda recently admitted work on the farmhouse has been delayed - telling a fan who asked about the 'restoration of the other house' that she hasn't 'even started yet'.
Posting to her Twitter page last week, the Channel 5 star gave her fans another update about life on her Yorkshire farm, as she shared an image of her daughter Nancy holding a large lightbulb as she sat amongst the hay.
"Bringing brightness into a dark place," Amanda began when captioning the snap alongside a lightbulb emoji.
"In the sink mew, usually stacked from floor to ceiling with hay bales, this year we used another barn."
Fans were quick to reply to the star's update, with one replying: "Ah look at Nancy sitting there all on her own and so pretty xx."
Last month, Amanda opened up about her split from Clive on an episode of Steph's Packed Lunch, admitting breaking up with her husband after over two decades together was "a weird situation", before adding: "But we’re actually all just fine, just getting on with it."
After months of months of rumours and speculation the couple were having a rocky time in their marriage, Amanda and Clive confirmed they had parted ways romantically in June this year.
Explaining the decision in a joint statement at the time, the mum-of-nine said: "Clive and I have are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate.
"This hasn't been easy, but we both believe it's the right choice for the future of our family."
The statement continued: "Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together with our number one priority the happiness and well-being of our children."
