Hello and welcome to this morning's Our Liverpool.
Warrington will fall silent to mark the anniversary of an IRA bombing that took the lives of two boys 30 years ago today. Parents were left grieving and searching for answers after two bombs exploded outside a Boots, killing three-year-old Johnathan Ball at the scene and leaving Tim Parry, 12, with injuries that would kill him five days later.
Less than 30 minutes earlier, Merseyside Police had investigated a bomb-threat outside Boots in Liverpool city centre, warning Warrington colleagues of a coded bomb threat received by Samaritans. A minute's silence will take place at Market Gate in the town at 12.20pm to remember the two boys.
