Good morning Merseyside and welcome to the latest instalment of Our Liverpool, which shines a spotlight on the best ECHO content.
This week so far has seen major planning decisions for the city centre, the sad news of Sheldrakes' closure and a firework display for the visiting Real Madrid team.
Our reporters are always working on an exciting mix of content across the city and there's been a real buzz in the newsroom this week.

If you've moved to Merseyside from somewhere else in the UK or beyond and want to shout about why you love the region, email me at storm.newton@reachplc.com.
