Hello and welcome to the latest edition of Our Liverpool.

I'm going to use today's installment to shine a light on a Waterloo street that has been reinvented by its bustling restaurant scene and a Wirral street that has undergone a pretty different kind of reinvention of its own.

Waterloo street is 'coming alive'
Waterloo and Crosby are known for their proximity to the coast and a great selection of bars and restaurants, but one road is making a name for itself among locals. St John's Road is off Crosby Road North and is a mix of old and new and our reporter Storm Newton went down to explore the area that's really starting to "come alive". Residents take matters into their own hands
Weary residents in Wirral have taken matters into their own hands by renaming their street to reflect the "never-ending" mess left their by dog owners.
The message, which was written on a piece of card, was stuck to a road sign near to Church Road and Seymour Street in Tranmere and pointed towards Mersey Park. It read: "Dog s*** alley, leading to dog s*** park". You can read the full story here.
Liverpool defiant despite Leicester loss
Despite Liverpool Women's defeat to relegation favourites Leicester in the WSL on Sunday, manager Matt Beard has insisted his players won't let their heads drop as they head into the business end of the season.
The result means Liverpool stay eighth in the WSL table - five points above Leicester, who remain bottom of the league. But while Beard was disappointed to emerge from Sunday's clash empty-handed, the Liverpool manager is confident the defeat won't prove decisive in the battle for WSL survival.
