An industry-leading restaurant with two Michelin stars has opened a vacancy in its kitchen... and it has a very appetising pay packet.
Two Michelin starred Moor Hall, in Aughton, Ormskirk, is seeking a new chef de partie to join its award winning team led by chef-patron Mark Birchall. The role will see the successful applicant taking charge of their own section of the kitchen for a respectable £35,000 per year.
The role also offers generous bonuses, including a "tronc", a common fund for tips which are then paid to staff, of up to £7,000 per year, meaning the successful applicant could take home over £40,000 every year before tax. These high wages came as a surprise to many when the job advert was posted by head-chef Mark Birchall, LancsLive reported.

Fans of Moor Hall took to social media to applaud the five Rosette restaurant for offering a very healthy take home package.

The advert was posted on the Instagram account of Moor Hall's Chef Patron, Mark Birchall.
Christmas is also a time off for the successful applicant with various other rewards including health insurance and referral bonuses.
