Organised for some Operation Ganga flights to land at airport close to Ukraine-Romania: Scindia

NEW DELHI: Union aviation minister J M Scindia has organised landing of some evacuation flights at an airport in a town close to the Ukraine-Romania border so that a significant number of Indian students are saved the almost 7-hour drive to capital Bucharest.

Over the next three days, close to 5,000 students will be flown to India from Bucharest and the airport in the border town, Suceava.
