With ESPN’s College GameDay on the Washington campus ahead of the No. 7 Huskies’ big Pac-12 showdown with No. 8 Oregon on Saturday, the Ducks’ famous mascot hilariously attempted to take advantage of the national spotlight.
During the telecast, the Duck held up a sign pleading for the attention of pop star Dua Lipa. It read: “@Dualipa. Can We Talk?”
After earning the focus of ESPN’s cameras, the Duck further aimed to gain the attention of the 28-year-old Grammy-winning singer and actress by posting a picture of himself holding the sign and tagging her on X, formerly known as Twitter.
