OPINION - Why are ministers obsessing about Grok instead of important things?

Let’s hear it for Grok. I have had a session on the site – which I freely concede I wouldn’t have been able to find by myself – with my teenage daughter and laughed myself silly over clips posted, it seems, by 17-year-olds, of Donald Trump twerking with Nicolás Maduro in mini frocks, getting married in bridal dress to a girl Vladimir Putin, and the late Queen in a mobility scooter race with the late Stephen Hawkins. Getting Donald Trump to look girly, and Queen Elizabeth to look racy are the modern equivalent of Thomas Rowlinson. It is, indeed, the satire of the age and there is, as my daughter says, joy in AI.
