A grieving mum and a soccer coach have been unveiled as the first leaders of Operation Transformation.
Andrea Daly cared for her late son Dylan who had cerebral palsy and sadly passed away four years ago at the age of 13.
Ahead of her debut on the RTE show Andrea, 38, who lives in Portlaoise, Co Laois with husband Joe and sons Alex, Ryan and Masey, said Dylan will be with her all the way. She added: “I look forward to getting healthy and being happy in my own body My journey on Operation Transformation.
“I feel this is my year and looking forward to the next eight weeks and seeing what the months and year brings.”
Coach Stephanie Bowden, 31, wants to lose weight after having her second child last year. Stephanie, from Clondalkin, West Dublin, lives with her partner Brian and their children Jack and Aoife.
She said: “I can’t wait to start Operation Transformation because I’m looking forward to the adventure of learning all the skills to improve my overall wellbeing.
“But it’s also an opportunity to experience what I feel life is about, community and connection.”
- Operation Transformation returns on Wednesday at 9.30pm on RTE One.
