Gardai have seized three suspected guns, ammo and €177k of apparent drugs during a search in north Dublin.
The search as part of Operation Thor happened on Monday in vacant wasteland in Finglas. The Finglas Detective Unit was supported by Gardaí from the K District Task Force and the Garda Dog Unit.
They found a number of items at several areas during the search. One of the locations was a barrel buried into the ground. Cocaine with a value of €92k was found as well as cannabis worth around €85k.

Three suspected firearms were seized:
- Scorpion Machine Pistol with magazine clip, ammunition and silencer
- Sig Saur Pistol with ammunition
- RAK 63 Machine Pistol and magazine clip
Gardai have said investigations into the discovery are ongoing. The firearms and drugs are to be sent for analysis.
