I'm a big fan of free. Buy-one, get-one type stuff, raffles, lotteries, and other contests where you can nab some free gear or other things are big in the Klein household as, and I don't know if you know this, but writers aren't paid what you'd call great wages these days. Plus, I grew up poor, and free gear will always trump spending my own money on things.
I mean, I basically won the lottery with my elk hunt this year, and that turned into a once-in-a-lifetime event. I still had to pay, but you get the idea.
But when I see something that could net other folks some free gear, especially in this economy where the average person is hurting, I'm gonna shout it from the rooftops. So when I saw that our friends over at onX Offroad were doing a "Trucksgiving" event, though it's not exclusive to trucks—UTVers are part of this, too—I knew I had to share it with y'all.
