An online fundraiser has been launched after a beloved Dublin pub was destroyed in a devastating fire.
A blaze ripped through Drop Dead Twice in the Liberties in the early hours of Sunday. Two residents who lived next door were treated for smoke inhalation by paramedics.
Now a GoFundMe page has been launched by pub co-founder Kelly O'Malley to raise vital funds to rebuild what is described as "a friendly neighbourhood bar". She said on the fundraiser page: "They say it takes a village and our baby really did boast the very best of the best when it came to the peeps who made her happen and those who loved her.

"Honestly the devastation and heartache at the loss are still sinking in. We don’t know what the future looks like but we do know that we plan to rebuild and reopen as soon as we are physically able.
"As heartbroken as we, and the whole team are, we are all taking some solace in the kindness and well wishes we are receiving from all the peeps who called our bar their ‘local’ and their favourite.
"It feels so uncomfortable to do this but so many of you have requested a GoFundMe so that they might show their support *gulp* so here it is... We are so grateful for all your kindness and we look forward to pouring you your fave drink as soon as possible."
