Nottingham Forest are understood to be poised to snap up another exciting young talent from Northern Ireland.
According to the Belfast Telegraph, Coleraine’s Bobby Jack McAleese will soon be joining up with the Reds.
The 16-year-old is said to be highly-rated by Coleraine, with the youngster earning a call-up to Northern Ireland’s U17 squad recently. More international recognition is expected to follow.
Coleraine U18 manager Martin Smith has described McAleese as “one of the best young midfield players in the country”.
He would join countrymen Dale Taylor, Aaron Donnelly and Jamie McDonnell, who have all impressed in the Forest U23 setup since crossing the Irish Sea.
Taylor, 18, has already made his senior debut for his country. Aged 17, he figured in the 1-0 victory over Lithuania in a World Cup qualifier at Windsor Park in November.
