On the Beach warns of big fall in holiday bookings to the Middle East

Package holiday operator On the Beach today warned it has seen a slump in bookings for destinations in Turkey, Greece, Cyprus and Egypt since the start of the war in Iran last month.

In an AGM trading update the company said the while it has “limited exposure to destinations in the Middle East, it has experienced a significant slowdown in demand following the onset of conflict in the region.”
