NAGPUR: City's first Grandmaster Raunak Sadhwani was on cloud nine when he got an invite from Magnus Carlsen to play beside him for a club founded by the world no.1 in Oslo, Norway.
In the 38th edition of the European Chess Club Cup which concluded in Durres, Albania, on Sunday, Raunak was a member of Carlsen-led Offerspill club, which emerged champion. Raunak's silent but crucial role helped Carlsen capture his first European title. The European crown was missing from the illustrious cabinet of the world no.1.
