Omagh woman runs 192 miles over 48 hours in charity challenge

Omagh Co Tyrone

An ultra marathon runner from Omagh has clocked up an astonishing 192 miles during a 48 hour run in the Co Tyrone town.

Jill McCann completed the challenge from 6pm on Friday until 6pm on Sunday around the 400m running track at Youth Sport in Omagh.

Raising money for the Enda Dolan Foundation and Autism NI, seasoned runner Jill said it was tough on the legs and mind but was happy to complete the mammoth challenge.
