Olly Murs has been flooded with congratulatory messages as he shared that he has popped the question to his girlfriend - and she said yes! The pop star revealed on Tuesday (June 7) that he and Amelia Tank are now engaged after he got down on one knee over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Olly has been in a relationship with Amelia since 2019 with the pair believed to have met while they were at the gym. However, the Heart Skips a Beat singer has previously said: "We we're just friends, then we started dating, then it fizzled out."
But after Olly had an operation on his knee, the pair reconnected. And in September last year, Olly said on ITV's Lorraine: "I think I’m signed, sealed, delivered and finished. Finally, at 37-years-old I’ve found the one."

And that appears to be true as the pair are now set to marry after Olly popped the question while on what appears to be a hike. Taking to Instagram, the former X Factor star shared a snap of him embracing Amelia with sprawling views of the sea in the background.
He captioned the sweet picture of the pair hugging with Saturday's date, June 4, as well as Amelia's name and a ring emoji. And the husband and wife-to-be were soon being inundated with messages.
JLS and Capital FM star Marvin Humes said: "Amazing news mate! Congrats to you both," while his bandmate Aston Merrygold wrote: "Good lad! Congratulations both of you." Reality star Vicky Pattinson commented: "Omg guys!!!!! Yessss!!!!! Congratulations man."
And fans were also thrilled. @andrea7t8 said: "Ah lovely news, this. Congratulations and lots of love." @laauren.shaw commented: "Aww congratulations Olly." @hayley2204 replied: "Yayyyy!!! Congratulations."
Amelia also shared a video of the pair as she jumped into his arms and they kissed on the beach. Using the same caption as her husband-to-be, she wrote: "04.06.2022," with an engagement ring and red heart emoji.
Earlier this year, Olly declared Amelia as 'the one' after they took a romantic break to Morocco, saying he knew she is the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. He told New magazine: "We both definitely knew. After two or three days, me and Amelia looked at each other and said, 'yeah, this is kind of it now, isn't it?' We both told each other that we loved each other.'
Olly continued: "When we came back from that trip, Amelia said, 'I knew straight away that you were who I was going to spend the rest of my life with', and I said the same."
Amelia is an accomplished bodybuilder and model. Last summer, Olly shared his pride as his other half won at the Pure Elite bikini competition in Margate after spending six months training.
Amelia has also helped Olly with his own fitness. The couple live in their very own Essex mansion with their dog, Missy, which boasts a swimming pool, fully-equipped home gym, and Olly's very own mancave.
