Singer and former The X Factor contestant Olly Murs has revealed he would be in the market for a role on the TV reality show if it returns, but he might be busy being a dad.
The 38 year old singer found fame on the ITV show back in 2009, rising through to the final before losing out on the winner title. He didn't let it hold him back in his musical career, going on to have hits with singles like 'Dance With Me Tonight' and 'You Don't Know Love'.
The Essex lad didn't just stop at musical hits, he also moved into TV as a presenter for the X Factor in 2015 and then The Voice from 2018.
Speaking at the Pride of Britain Awards alongside girlfriend Amelia Tank, Olly let slip that he could be tempted to return to the X Factor - when it returns in 2024.
He said: "I love the show. I love everything about it! And there's definitely things that I think it can improve on. Simon knows where I am if he ever wanted to have a chat about it. I'd love to be involved!"
The star previously co-hosted with presenter Caroline Flack in 2015, after a previous stint on the spin off The Xtra Factor.
He added: "The most important thing is the show took a break. It was a bit tired. I would love it if it came back, because that show's given me so much."
Simon Cowell revealed earlier this year that the singing talent show was likely to make a return, but not until 2024. The talent show - which created the careers of some of the world's biggest names including Leona Lewis, One Direction as well as Olly Murs - will return but not to ITV. The show will instead find its home at Channel 5.
However, as much as Olly could be enticed into a presenting role, he might be tied up being a father. The musician revealed he and bodybuilder girlfriend Amelia do have family plans on the cards.
He said: "We're obviously hoping to start a family at some point... We're just hoping to be focusing on us."
The pair announced their engagement earlier this year.
