Olly Murs has shared his excitement over starting his new tour in Glasgow as he praises the city for having "the best crowd".
His new 'Marry Me' tour, which begins later this month, will kick off at Glasgow's OVO Hydro. Olly has said that the Scottish fans offer an "energy" that makes him feel ready to party.
Speaking to STV's What's On Scotland, the singer beamed that he "can't wait". Olly said that Scots city has a "party" atmosphere, adding "You guys are just the best crowd".
He continued: "It's such a great city, great people, just great everything, so what a great way to start the tour."
It comes after the X-Factor standout released new music for the first time in four years, admitting that he was partly inspired by his fiancé Amelia Tank. The 38-year-old said that he and Amelia got engaged during the process of creating his new music, and that the album is about her.
They are due to get married this summer. He told STV: "The whole album, now that I’ve finished it, is definitely about Amelia."
The OVO Hydro website states: "Olly is sure to have people dancing – if not proposing – in the aisles next year, when he gets back on tour. Last time round he sold 180,000 tickets for UK arenas in 2019.
"He's determined to go bigger, better, louder this time and will return with huge arena shows across the UK in April & May."
Olly will perform at Glasgow's OVO Hydro on April 21, 2023. Tickets are available on the singer's website.
