Oleksandr Zinchenko has confirmed, via Arsenal's official Instagram, that he will wear the No.35 shirt following his move from Manchester City. The 25-year-old has penned a four-year contract at the Emirates Stadium, becoming the Gunners' fifth signing of the summer amid the arrivals of Marquinhos, Matt Turner, Fabio Vieira and Gabriel Jesus.
The Ukraine international will take the number from Lucas Torreira, who faces an increasingly uncertain future in north London. And, it's believed that he's been included in a player-plus-cash offer as a ploy to secure Arthur Melo's services from Juventus this summer.
Gabriel Martinelli and Mohamed Elneny both also enjoyed the No.35 at some stage during their time at Arsenal. Though both have taken on the No.11 and No.25, respectively.
