It hasn’t been easy for Ohio State Football and it’s recruitment of defensive ends.
The 2023 cycle saw the Buckeyes miss on multiple top targets and in 2024, it hasn’t been as much of a struggle, 5-star Eddrick Houston is committed, but he is the only pledge at the position.

Well, they’re consistently added in high-level prospects top groups, like Florida 2025 defensive end Armondo Blount. The 6-foot, 3-inch, 250-pounder has the Buckeyes in his top five.

Blount one of the best players in the country, as he’s ranked as the No. 2 defensive end and 5th overall prospect according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. Ohio State offered him in January of 2022, so it’s been recruiting him for close to two years now.
