It’s still a bit odd that the Big Ten didn’t designate Penn State as one of Ohio State’s protected opponents, but it just means their matchups will bring that much more hype.
The two teams typically make a big deal out of their games, the Nittany Lions hosting multiple “White Outs” when the Buckeyes visit Happy Valley. This fall Ohio State is returning the favor, announcing that it will have a “Scarlet the Shoe” when Penn State comes to Columbus.
