The Big Ten Tournament is underway and postseason awards won’t be far behind. The Ohio State women’s basketball team has had an outstanding season helped by sensational sophomore Cotie McMahon.
Recently, McMahon has been recognized for her accomplishments on the floor by being named as a top-five finalist for the Cheryl Miller Award. The award is given out each year to the most outstanding small forward in all of college basketball.
McMahon averages 14.1 points per game while grabbing more than six rebounds per game. According to the Ohio State Athletics website, she has five double-doubles while scoring double digits in 23 games this season.

McMahon will go up against some other excellent players for the award. Others included as finalists are Aneesah Morrow of LSU, Alyssa Utsby of North Carolina, Rickea Jackson of Tennessee, and Madison Booker of Texas.
