Ohio State and Boston College have come to terms on an agreement to play on the football field in 2035 and 2036. An original arrangement was made in 2012 to play in 2020 and 2021, but like a lot of things, that was re-visited because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The games were originally moved to 2023 and 2024, then moved again to 2026 and 2027, and now out to the recently communicated dates on Thursday.
Ohio State will play host to the Eagles on September 15, 2035, and will have a return trip to Chestnut Hill on September 13, 2036. It’ll be the first time the two programs have met since the 1995 season, a 38-6 OSU victory in the Kickoff Classic out in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The new dates now confirm home-and-home series with Notre Dame, Washington, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, and Boston College. The future dates line up like the following:
Sept. 3, 2022 – Notre Dame
Sept. 23, 2023 – at Notre Dame
Sept. 14, 2024 – at Washington
Aug. 30, 2025 – Texas
Sept. 13, 2025 – Washington
Sept. 12, 2026 – at Texas
Sept. 18, 2027 – Alabama
Sept. 9, 2028 – at Alabama
Sept. 14, 2030 – at Georgia
Aug. 30, 2031 – Georgia
Sept. 15, 2035 – Boston College
Sept. 13, 2036 – at Boston College
As always, a lot of these agreements are made years in advance. As more is made available to round out future schedules, we’ll update you accordingly.
