An obsessed stalker who could not stop following and contacting a frightened mum has been locked up for over six years. Richard Davies, 34, refused to stop tormenting his victim, despite being slapped with a Stalking Protection Order (SPO).
Teesside Crown Court has heard a lengthy list of phone calls and threats that Davies continued to make to the woman, despite being repeatedly arrested and bailed by Cleveland Police. Davies stalked the woman for over five months in late 2021 and into this year.
He showed up outside of her home shouting abuse and made continuous threatening phone calls to her. When the woman blocked him on social media, Davies created fake profiles and continued to send her abusive messages, Teesside Live reports.
