Liam and Noel Gallagher have stated that they do not want to do any joint interviews ahead of their 2025 tour.
It follows the two brothers' August announcement of their much-awaited reunion and confirmation that they were back on good terms.
The brothers started Oasis together in the early 1990s then broke up in 2009 due to conflicts.
Although they haven't formally announced any intentions for new music yet, they have announced a number of shows in the UK, Ireland, US and Mexico.
More recently, the band expanded its tour to Australia, with a minimum of two performances in Sydney and Melbourne, protecting fans from the dynamic-pricing scheme that drove up the price of tickets for the band's UK performances.
The brothers declared they would not be performing at any festivals the following year when they revealed the UK dates.
Liam has now stated that he and Noel do not plan to do interviews together because they are "afraid" of answering intimate questions and of the media maybe attempting to dissect their relationship.
This morning, Liam made the update on X/Twitter in response to a fan who had tweeted, “Fans we must acknowledge that liam and noel’s relationship > oasis as a band. Their relationship has been marked by estrangement for years, and we must note that the media contributed to their tensions.”
Liam responded "RESPEK" in a reply message, then continued, saying, “We don’t want to do interviews coz we’re scared of the media asking us intrusive questions and trying to pick holes in our relationship.”
