A vulnerable OAP who suffers from dementia escaped a Paisley care home and was discovered wandering the streets late at night as his family were told he was safe in bed.
John Gibb, 75, was a resident at the Westerfield Care Home when he fled the building in May 2022. He was later found walking in the dark by a couple who took him into their home and contacted police.
His family have been left disgusted by the incident and other failings as they vow he will never return to the home, the Record reports.
