NYT tech executive shot dead allegedly by Chinese in-laws at California sports complex; shooters took turns to spray bullets

40-year-old Jonathan McKinsey, the head of engineering for games player experience of New York Times, was shot dead by his elderly Chinese in-laws in the parking lot of Dublin Sports Grounds, reports said. The incident took place around 3pm on Saturday. A spokesperson for the NYT confirmed to NY Post that McKinsey who had been working for the newspaper since 2023 was the victim of the attack.
