The NYPD Chief of Detectives, Joseph Kenny, revealed to reporters that during the investigation into the shooting of UnitedHealthcare's CEO, detectives discovered ammunition with the words 'delay,' 'deny,' and 'depose' written on them. Each word was found on a separate bullet, as reported by the Associated Press.
Earlier, CNN had reported that two of the words, 'delay' and 'depose,' were located on a shell casing and a live round at the crime scene where health care executive Brian Thompson was killed in the early hours of Wednesday.
Alongside the ammunition, detectives are also analyzing other physical evidence recovered from the scene. This evidence includes a burner phone and a water bottle that were found nearby, according to sources familiar with the investigation.
