A New York woman is dealing with a faulty outlet and an unexpected visit from firefighters, according to her TikTok post. It reportedly started when an outlet in her home began sparking and melting her cords, forcing her to call 911. The firefighters shut off her electricity because the wiring appeared to pose a serious fire hazard, as reported by The Nerd Stash.
They warned her the wiring needed urgent attention to stop a fire from spreading through the building. Things worsened when she tried to get her landlord to fix the wiring, saying she had contacted him several times. When she told him that firefighters had been on the scene, she claimed he hung up on her.
