NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) spent most of September arguing that AI safety is an engineering problem, not a legal one. On Sept. 28, the company shipped the product to prove it. NVIDIA introduced the Open Agent Safety Platform alongside more than 100 industry partners, pairing open-source access controls with an independent monitoring layer that runs on separate silicon so it can watch an AI agent without living inside it. Jensen Huang framed the launch plainly: AI's potential only gets realized if safety gets solved alongside capability.
Investors hear "safety" and price in a slowdown. Luke Lango of InvestorPlace thinks that reading is backward and that a self-regulation path widens the AI infrastructure spending pipeline rather than narrowing it. That's the setup behind three names he's watching.
