Nurses’ vote to strike this month but health unions split over government pay offer

Nurses will strike again later this month after members of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) rejected a pay offer.

In a statement on Friday, the RCN said that more than half (54 per cent) of their members had voted against the Government deal on a 61 per cent turnout - despite the union recommending acceptance of the offer.
