Nurse in critical condition after stabbing at hospital

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a nurse was seriously injured in a stabbing at Royal Oldham Hospital.

The nurse, a woman in her 50s, was left in a critical condition after being stabbed by a member of the public at about 11.30pm on Saturday, Greater Manchester Police said.
